Snow Hill………………………………Bertha Anne Bagley Lane, age 81, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 24, at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mrs. Lane was a member of Free Union Original Free will Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lane of the home; daughter, Cheryll Lane Smith of Walstonburg; sons, Steve Lane, Bill Lane, and Dennis Lane all of Snow Hill; sisters, Effie Corbett of Beaufort, Sue Huber of Washington, and Charlotte Haddock of Pine Town; brothers, Sam Bagley and Mack Bagley both of Greenville, and Leland Bagley of Farmville; and grandchildren, Will Lane, William Lane Jr., and Austin Lane.
