Bertha L. Gaines, 71, of East Liverpool, passed away, Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Born, August 16, 1947, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late, Goldie Fulmer McBane and Frank Thrasher. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Gaines.

Bertha was a 1966 graduate of East Liverpool High School. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Martin and husband Robbie of East Liverpool and by her siblings, Paul, Bobby, Jimmy, Alan and Larry McBane. No services are planned at this time and the Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with handling these arrangements.
