Bertha Lou Hammock age 69 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1948 to the late Juanita Ellis and Arlie Pike in Scott County, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister: Mary Pike.

She is survived by her husband: Willie J. Hammock; sons: Melvin Pike and wife Cindy of Oneida, Tennessee and John Hammock and wife Michelle of Lorain, Ohio; brothers: Beman Pike and Sheridan Pike of Oneida, Tennessee; grandchildren: John Hammock Jr, Heather Hammock, Monica Pike, Mason Pike, Macahi Pike, and Morgan Branscum; special friend: Marsha Hammock; six grandchildren and many more relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the Hammock family on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Pike Cemetery in Oneida, Tennessee.
