Obituary for Beryl D. Walker Beryl Walker, 83, of Johnson City passed away Friday November 30, 2018 at the Waters of Johnson City. Beryl served his country in the United States Navy for four years active and four years reserves. He was a mechanic and was co-owner of West Side Radiator Shop until his disability in 1975.

Beryl loved the outdoors especially hunting and watching squirrels and birds. Beryl is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Hazel Walker; brothers, Jim Walker, Mickey Walker; sisters, Norma Walker, Dorothy Pealer, Betty Walker; nephew, Mickey Kenneth Walker II, and niece, Joyce Jackson. Those left to cherish Beryl’s memories include his wife of fifty-three years, Janice Taylor Walker; sister, Peggy Rusk and husband Dave of Westerville, Ohio, and Sonja McKamey and husband John.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm at Tetrick Funeral Services, 3001 Peoples St. Johnson City Tennessee, 37604 with Reverend Jim Cambron officiating. A eulogy will be given by Beryl’s nephew Dr. Steven McLemore.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery beginning at 2:30pm with the Carter County VFW rendering military honors. Pallbearers will be Dennie Pealer, Ricky Carr, Lester Taylor, Mark Pfeiffer, Steve McLemore, and Jeff McLemore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Drayne, Paul Lewis, Dennis Hancock, and Dave Rusk.

Everyone who wishes to attend the Graveside Service is asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:20pm. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Jim Cambron, Jim Cash, and loving neighbors for their loyal friendship and many visits. Tetrick Funeral Services is honored to be serving the Walker family.
