Beryl’s Obituary Beryl Lenore Stagg, 78, of Traverse City, formerly of Mesick, died Friday, January 25, 2019, at home with her family by her side. She was born July 23, 1940, in Detroit, the daughter of Adam and Marion (Morse) Hassa. Beryl worked for the United States Postal Service for 24 years, retiring as Postmaster of the Buckley Post Office.

In her spare time, Beryl loved to ride her Harley, enjoying rides as recently as four years ago. Beryl loved to travel, and most of all, she loved her grandchildren. Beryl is survived by: her sons, Thomas “Tom” Stagg of Mesick and James “Jim” (Debbie) Stagg of Mesick; eight grandchildren, Mike, Michelle, Paige, Trisha, Tyler, Rachael, Wade, and Eric; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Ellen Rose of Florida; and two nieces.

Beryl was preceded in death by: her parents; and by her sister, Nancy Guthrie. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced soon. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.
