Bessie Medlock, 55, of Grubbs, passed away November 9, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 4, 1963 at Newport, Arkansas. Her father, Charles Adams, preceded her in death.

She married Steve Medlock May 18, 2009 at Newport, Arkansas; he survives. She is also survived by one son, Joshua James Adams (Amber) of Idaho; step daughters, Stephanie Hearn (William) of Jackson, Mississippi and Randi Hopkins of Tupelo, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Marci, Oliver, Riley, Silas, Hannah, Dakota, and Chloe Jo; her mother, Ruby Faye Hickman of Tuckerman; three sisters, Linda Maples (James) of Cherry Valley, Brenda Adams of Wynne, and Angie Adams of Newport; one brother, Charles “Buddy” Adams of Tuckerman; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will have a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Amagon Baptist Church.
