Betsyann Peoples, 97, of Lower Burrell, died Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Harmar Village Care Center. She was born in Cleveland Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian (Dilley) Hartill. Betsyann will be remembered by her family and friends as a person who loved animals and enjoyed volunteering for the Citizens General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the New to You Shop.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Peoples Jr. and brothers, John, Richard and William Hartill. She was the beloved step mother of Anne Lewis of North Carolina; Carol (Darl) McNutt III of Apollo; Kaye (Lennie) Tripp of North Carolina; Larry (Sue) Peoples of Lower Burrell; Gary Peoples of Lower Burrell; and Patricia Bell of North Carolina; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and 3 great nephews; aunt of Norma Mazur of Chicago and John Hartill Jr. of Vandergrift. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of service at 8 p.m. Friday in the FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Robert P. Karish, Supervisor, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068.

Rev. Ken Foust will officiate. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 533 Linden Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068.
