Obituary for Bette Jewell Davis Bette Jewell Davis was born in Nevada, Missouri on September 22, 1923. She passed from this earth on August 11, 2018 at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 11 days. She married the love of her life, William “Bob” Davis on January 6, 1942.

Bette was employed at several businesses throughout her life and retired from Walmart. She was also a member of the Second Baptist Church. Bette found great pleasure from working in her yard and planting flowers.

She was quite artistic and love making arts and crafts. Bette was preceded in death by her husband William Robert “Bob” Davis, her son Manford Fields Davis, and a great grandchild Cali Kelough. Those left to cherish a multitude of wonderful memories are her five sons: Leslie M. Davis and wife Susie of Muskogee, Samuel J. Davis and wife Nancy of Broken Arrow, John R. “Rusty” Davis and wife Karen of Okmulgee, Toby R. Davis and wife Mary of Broken Arrow, and McKinley S. Scot” Davis and wife Wynona of Conway, Arkansas, eleven grandchild Christopher M. Davis and wife Kathleen, Angelia J. (Davis) Been and husband, Amanda McDowell, Cameron E. Davis and companion Mirabel Hull, Roger Kelough and wife Chasidy, Joshua S. Davis and wife Sarah, Whitney L. (Davis) Sagely and husband Todd, Robert “Rob” C. Davis and fiancé Jessica Bowie, Carolyn L. Davis, Natalie J. Davis, and Olivia S. Davis, and twenty one great grandchildren Ashley, Grace, Ryder, Ireland, Ayden, Aniya, Clayton, Corbin, Bradford, Merredith, Lily, Violet, Leah, Abigail, Chloe, Joshua, Lucas, Elizabeth, Harper and two more on the way.

Condolences may be sent in the care of John and Karen Davis to 500 Mooreland Rd. Okmulgee, Ok 74447. No services are planned.

The family will have a private memorial to commemorate her life and share memories at a later date. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
