A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Betty M. Bramwell of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018, will be held Saturday, July 7th at 2:00 p.m. at New Dawn Restoration Center, 5308 E. Columbus Dr, Tampa, FL, Rev. Dr. Julia McMillian, officiating. Mrs. Betty Marie Bramwell was the oldest of seven siblings born to the late James E. Lowe and Shirley G. Robinson on June 4, 1943 in Manhattan, New York.

She raised two handsome sons and her niece, Aisheeda Benjamin as her daughter. Betty Bramwell was a hard worker. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office, she retired after 32 years of faithful service.

She relocated to Seffner, Florida where she worked at the Wilbert Davis Belmont Heights Boys and Girls Club also as an administrative assistant. In 2014, Betty joined New Dawn Restoration Center, where she was a member of the SAVOR Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl B. Bramwell; son, Fred Alston, brothers; Richard Lowe, Sylvian (Sonny) Benjamin, and Ulric (Tony) Benjamin.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Ernest Alston; daughter, Aisheeda Benjamin; brother, Ronald Lowe; sisters, Annette Taylor, Darlene Albury, Brenda Goodjoin and Jean Epps; father-in-law, Louis Bramwell; mother-in-law, Marjorie Bramwell; sister-in-law, Heather Bramwell; brother-in-law, Roger Bramwell; nieces, Latisha Benjamin, Andrea and Yasmine Moore, Kesha and Parthanis Pinkney; nephews, Andre Moore, Sylvian Benjamin, Jermaine Pinkney, Shaquan and Sean Benjamin, and William Elfe (Billie); special friends, Albert Harper and Barbara Bowie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
