Tifton – Ms. Betty Carol Carr Brannon, 74 of Tifton died Tuesday, December 24, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. The family will receive friends before the service on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:30 P.M.

Ms. Brannon was born the daughter of the late Henry Oscar Carr and Mary Elizabeth Greer Carr on August 21, 1944 in Tift County. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Tommy and Bobby Carr. She was retired from Shaw Industries as a quality control manager.

She had lived most of her life in Tift County. She loved Elvis and had visited Graceland Mansion in Memphis, TN many times. She loved to cook and work in her yards.

She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters; Mary Juanita and John Brownlee of Nashville, TN, Shanda Leigh Mayo of Nashville, TN. , three sons; Wayne Thomas and Gerri Brannon of Tifton, William “Billy” Thomas and Wanda Brannon of Tifton and Wallace Ray “Buck” Brannon of Tifton; Grandchildren; Cory Thomas Earnest, Brandy Elizabeth Earnest, Elizabeth O’Neal, Rebecca O’Neal, Alyson “Gator” Kate Brannon, Heather Marie Casto, Jacobwalker “J.

W.” Thomas Brannon, Seth Daniel Brannon, and Alex Dean Brannon, one brother and sister-in-law; William Ronnie and Marlyne Carr of Covington.
