OBITUARY Betty Irene Trent May 9, 1947 – October 10, 2018 Betty I Trent, 71, of Kokomo passed away at 3:26 AM Wednesday October 10, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo. Born May 9, 1947 in Lee Valley, TN, she was the daughter of the late Heiskel Trent and Christine (Williams) Geiger. She was a 1965 graduate of Kokomo High School.

She was employed with Delco Electronics for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of U.A.W. Local #292; enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. Survivors include two nieces Sherri (Terry) Thieke of Amboy, Shelli (Paul) Byrd of Herbst, IN; one nephew Andy Trent of Kokomo; great nieces and nephews Chris Breed, Nicole Connolly, Heather (David) Hunt, Brandon (Nikki) Thieke, Brent (Kayla) Byrd, Paul (Krista) Byrd, Kylie (Ryan) Ferrell, Peyton Byrd; great great nieces and nephews Brayden and Elijah Breed, Madisyn and Carter Connolly, Alisyn and Ariah Tharp, Payton Hunt, Zander and Victoria Sturgeon, and Xzavier Stivers, Chandler Thieke, Logan, Cale, and Makenna Byrd, Jake Seals, Jackson and Karsyn Byrd, and Kourtney Volmer.

There are also several cousins from Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Charles Allen Trent, and one sister Patricia Slagle. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Saturday October 13, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo.

Gary Hendricks will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden, Kokomo. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM Saturday at the mortuary.
