Benson, NC: Mrs. Betty Jane Tart Teal, age 72, of 680-G Adams Road died Friday September 7, 2018 at her home. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Mrs. Teal was born December 16, 1945 in Harnett County to the late Jasper and Alease Jackson Tart.

She was a school bus driver. Surviving are husband, Robert Earl Register; children & spouses, Tony & Kay Holmes of Benson, Steven & Kathy Holmes of Benson, Lisa Lynn Holmes of Four Oaks, and Kim & Jessie Bloomberg of Oriental, NC; step-daughter & husband, Donna & David Baggett of Clinton; and grandchildren, Blake Holmes, Scottie Holmes, Kayla H. Lee & husband, Jonathan, Abby & Michael, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Parker & husband, Johnny, MayGen Barbour Pounds, Tonya Pounds, Tony Bloomberg & Jessica Bloomberg; step-grandchildren, Maria & Danyielle Baggett; and several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
