She loved all the kids, gave them toys and paid for many milks or ice cream, just to see them smile. She loved to garden, and that’s where she wants to be put to rest. She also loved her dogs.

She even made sure all the cats were fed. Those left to cherish her memories, great and funny as they are, her husband of 59 years Ernest Crabtree; children Keith Crabtree and Melisa (Crabtree) Tzouanakis and her husband John of Waucunda, Illinois. Betty has 4 grandchildren, Kaylee Crabtree , Kory (Riley) Crabtree, Bailey Louise (Brian) Szubinski and Taylor John Tzouanakis.

Also surviving are her younger brother Randy (Brenda) Thacker and their son RJ of Minford, Ohio. Nephews, Colin (Heather) Thacker and their children Hannah, Micah and Cameron of Minford, Ohio, and Jonas (Kristie) Thacker and their children Degan and Ava of Portmouth, Ohio. We are all so thankful she met and got to hold him in her arms. She is preceded in death by her parents and younger brother Ronald Thacker. Following Betty’s wishes, there will be no services.
