Obituary for Betty Jean Fisher Betty J Fisher, 78, of Kankakee (formerly of Manteno) passed away, peacefully with family at her side, on Wednesday Oct. 31st 2018 at Our Lady of Victory nursing home. She was born February 6th 1940 in Grand Chain, IL to Walter and Ethel Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers Charles, Truman, William, Carl Dean and 1 sister Stella. Also preceding her in death were former husband Paul Fisher, daughter Carol Fisher Sifrit, grandson Jason Cannon. Surviving are daughter Deborah Fisher of Clifton, IL, son Mike (Connie) Fisher of Queen Creek, AZ, daughter Kathy (Tim) Chouinard of Clifton, IL, son Randy Fisher of Kankakee, IL.

11 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Betty was retired from General Foods in Kankakee, IL. She spent her retirement enjoying quilting, supporting her family by attending various events such as baseball/softball games, wrestling meets, football games, plays, dance recitals, etc.

She enjoyed having her family around her whenever she could. Services will be held at Brown-Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno, IL. Visitation will take place Wednesday Nov.
