Betty Jean Wadsworth, 71, of Fremont, died early Friday morning, August 31, 2018. She was born May 20, 1947 in Mena, Arkansas to Edward R. Fitzgerald and Ina Lee (Eeds) Fitzgerald. Betty is survived by children, Lisa Sachs, Perrysburg, Ohio, Tonya Wadsworth, Tracy Rosen, and Nicole Almeida, all of Fremont, Ohio; siblings, Edward Fitzgerald, Port Clinton, Ohio, Terri Fitzgerald, Fremont, Ohio, and half-sister, Carol Jean Kruckeberg, of Colorado.

She is also survived by her partner of 37 years, Marcos Bocanegra, of Fremont, Ohio; along with 10 grandchildren, Dakota, Salrina, Steven, Natasha, Michael, and Sara Wadsworth, Raul and Madalyna Almeida, and Lindsay and Trevor Sachs; and 15 great-grandchildren. The Fitzgerald and Wadsworth families would like to thank the hospice nurses for all of the wonderful care they provided. Per Betty’s wishes, no services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to The Humane Society of Sandusky County. There will be a celebration of Betty’s life Sunday, September 30 from 2-5 p.m. in the pavilion at Dock’s Beach House in Port Clinton. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave.
