Betty’s Obituary Betty Jean Gage, 80, of Oak Point, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Denton. She was born in Grandfield, Oklahoma on January 16, 1939 to August and Dolly (Champion) Tackel. She graduated from Grandfield High School and attended Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma.

She married Dale Gage in Oklahoma City on May 1, 1964. She worked for Ford Motor Company in the accounting department from which she retired after 35 years. She enjoyed gardening and was a huge sports fan in her later years.

She is survived by her husband, Dale of Oak Point, daughter, Camie Hibbison of Little Elm, Sister Vera Armstrong of Norman, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Shaun Christopher McKee, Matthew Aaron Hibbison and great-granddaughter, Madison Danielle McKee. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandfield Cemetery in Grandfield, Oklahoma.
