Obituary for Betty Jo Freeman McGlasson Betty Jo Freeman McGlasson of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away September 10, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Wallace and Mary Freeman, son Mike McGlasson, and son-in-law William “Bill” Foster. Survived by her husband of 66 years, Elman “Mac” McGlasson, son, Bruce McGlasson, daughter, Linda Foster; seven grandchildren: Jessie (Chris) Bower, Jacob and Finn McGlasson, Kelsey Foster, Brian (Mary) Foster, Graham (Charlene) McGlasson, Cameron (Jeremy) Downing; eleven great-grandchildren, and foster son, Billy Miller.

Family was very important to Betty and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A Christian and member of Ashland City United Methodist Church, Betty was active in UMW, the church Fellowship class, and the Methodist Laity Group of Cheatham County. Betty was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School, class of 1949.

Services at Cheatham County Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday, September 11, from 4PM-8PM. Funeral service Wednesday, September 12 at 11 AM with visitation an hour before the service. Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
