Obituary for Ted Morgan Duke Ted Morgan Duke died in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Graves County, Kentucky on October 19, 1950. He retired from Mayfield Electric, Mayfield, Kentucky as a lineman for 27 years.

He moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Ocean Springs in 2015. Ted was a member of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Church in Biloxi, MS. Ted Duke is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Whitehead Duke of Ocean Springs; son, Scott Thomas Duke (Jessica) of Glennville, Georgia; daughter, Angela Kaye Duke Dowdy (John) of Toney, Alabama; daughter Shawn Duke of Benton, Kentucky; grandchildren, McKenzie Morgan Duke, Clay Thomas Duke, Lexie Duke, Allie Dowdy, Brady Dowdy, and Corbin Dowdy; step children, Michael Whitehead (Michelle), Kimberly Carroll (Lonnie), Glenn Fox (Vickie), Roxanne Broome (Brantley), Barbara Bullard (Steve), and John Fox; step grandchildren, Shelby Broome, Jessica Fox, Blake Carroll, Abbie Carroll, Brandon Bullard, Brett Bullard, Haley Whitehead, and Hannah Whitehead; step great grandchildren, Mike Bullard, Lane Carroll, and Brody Carroll.

sister, Margaret Glover (Larry) of Ballard County, Kentucky, and brother, Jeffrey Duke (Reda) of Graves County, Kentucky. Ted is preceded in death by his first wife, Sherry Kaye Finney of Ocean Springs, MS; parents, Thomas Jefferson Duke and Ovaleen West Duke; sister, Betty Cagle, Linda Wright, and son Ted Morgan Duke, Jr. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services. A celebration of life service will follow at 11 am.

The family will also receive friends from 11-12 pm on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Cheatham County Funeral Home, 117 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City, Tennessee 37015. A celebration of life service will follow at 12 pm. Interment will follow the funeral service in Felts Cemetery.
