Betty’s Obituary Betty Jo Pate of Kaufman, Texas went home to her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2019 in Kaufman, Texas, Betty was born in Terrell, Texas on January 28, 1941, to James and Rachel Crow. Betty married Jackie Dale Pate in Kaufman, Texas on March 8, 1958. She was born and raised in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties and also attended schools there.

Betty was a very caring and loving wife that wouldn’t allow her husband to even go to work without a hot meal and a lunch box so heavy he had to use both hands to carry it. She never made a meal from a box or package they were always made with love from scratch. She was a hard worker throughout her life always canning and cooking for her loved ones.

When Betty wasn’t cooking or caring for her family she loved to take the time to go fishing and going to the casino. She spent her entire life doing things the right way. She didn’t believe in quitting or putting off work.

Betty loved her grandchildren and spent many a day sitting in the floor playing tea party and games with the kids. Betty is survived by Daughters: Rhonda Deluca and husband Jackie of Kaufman, Brenda Honeycutt and husband Gary Sr. of Edgewood, Brothers: Harold Crow and wife Corine of Dallas, Horace Crow and Betty of Fruitvale, Jerry Crow and wife Patsy of Ennis, Sisters: LaVerne Fleischer and husband Dale of Burleson, Melba Willis and husband Lindon of Mesquite, Grandchildren: Angela Constantine and husband Rob, James (Jim) Honeycutt and Narona, Chanessa Honeycutt and Jesse, Gray Honeycutt Jr. and Jamie, Aarron Deluca, Adam Deluca, Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Constatine, Mia Constantine, Tatum Honeycutt, Nikoli Wilson, Faithlynn Wilson, Meghan Kellis, Haylee Miller, Victoria Vaughn, Alexandria Honeycutt, Colby Honeycutt, Grace Honeycutt. Great-Great Grandchildren: Michael, Charlie, Parker, Harley, Brothers-in-law: William Pate Sr. and wife Deana, Donald Pate, Sister-in-law: Donna Burge and husband Wayne, and many extended family members and loved ones.
