Betty June Toler, age 80, of Fort Payne, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019. She was born June 30, 1938 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Q.P. and Ruth Hughes. Betty spent her career in banking and accounting and then she and her late husband, James, served as missionaries in Mexico for 10 years.

She will be remembered as a loving, godly mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone that knew her. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 31st at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Dehart officiating.

Burial will follow in Fischer Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 30th from 5 until 8 p.m. She is survived by her children, J.C. Toler, Jr. and wife Patty, Sandi Garmon and husband, Donald, Teri Toler, Lisa Nichelson and husband, Keith, and Benjamin Toler and wife, Julie; sister, Peggy Hughes; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Toler, Sr. and daughter, Elizabeth D. Toler.
