Obituary for Betty L. Grasser Betty L. Grasser 93, of Bonita Springs, FL died on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence. Betty was born June 29, 1924 in Springfield, OH the only child of the late Harold B. and Blanche L. (Bates) Pence. A former lifelong resident of Springfield, OH, Betty had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1982.

Before her retirement she previously worked for Wren’s Department Store in Springfield as a purchasing agent and buyer. In her spare time she enjoyed water skiing and boating on Indian Lake. She was a member of the Eagles, the Moose Lodge and the Elks.

She was also the former secretary for the Friends of the Fakahatchee. She is survived by her husband, Wayne E. Grasser of Bonita Springs, FL; her 3 children, Betty V. Patton and her husband, Edward of Springfield, OH, Earl W. Foster, Jr. and his wife, Celine of Phoenix, AZ and Vicky L. Gannon of Bonita Springs, FL; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Earl W. Foster who died in 1986.

Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Betty may be made to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice 27200 Imperial Pkwy. , Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
