Obituary for John Pandolfo John Pandolfo 82, of Bonita Springs died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Naples Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on June 22, 1935 in Far Rockaway, NY s son of the late Mathew and Florence (LaBerge) Pandolfo. John had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1988 coming from Massapequa Park, NY.

He began his career in law enforcement in 1961 with the Nassau County Police Department and retired at the rank of Detective in 1988. Soon after moving to Bonita Springs, John was hired as the Director of Security for Bonita Bay and retired again in 2003. After taking a year off, he rejoined Bonita Bay part time as a security guard and finally retired again in 2005.

He was a member and usher at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and a very active 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. Pandolfo of Bonita Springs, FL; one son, John Pandolfo, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen of Massapequa, NY; one daughter, Barbarann Centa and her husband, Sergio of Massapequa Park, NY and two grandchildren, Faith Catherine Centa and Sergio J. Centa. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mathew Pandolfo and William Pandolfo and his sister, Joan Pandolfo.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 28300 Beaumont Rd. , Bonita Springs, FL. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the St Leo the Great building fund.
