Betty L. Olson age 89, of Belmont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8th, 2018. She was preceded in death by her sisters Jan Haling and Bea Traster and her first husband George Leetsma. Betty is survived by her loving husband Gene, sister Judy (Don) Gerken, children, Jim Olson (Darcy), Carolyn Beck (Robert Grant), and Janet Olson (Jim Stevens), two nieces, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Betty was a lifelong member of Ada Congregational Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and sewing quilts for the children. She worked for United Airlines for many years. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12pm at Ada Congregational Church, Rev.

Gary Burdick officiating. The family will greet friends Friday at the church one hour prior to the service from 11am to 12pm. Should friends desire, contributions are suggested to Ada Congregational Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
