OBITUARY Marian R Pacific August 2, 1925 – September 30, 2018 Marian R. Pacific, 93 of Grand Rapids passed away Sunday September 30, 2018. Born on August 2, 1925 in Grand Rapids, to John and Bertha Karsies. Wife of 62 years to the late Carl R. Pacific.

Survived by daughter Brenda (Mike) Radlinski, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and son in law Bill Kossen. Also survived by brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents John and Bertha, daughter Marcia Kossen and brothers Henry Karsies and Harold “Bob” Karsies.

Marian loved dancing and traveling with her husband Carl. She sang in the choir at the Northlawn United Methodist Church. Marian was once a member of the Mother Singers.

She was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan. Family was very important to Marian and she enjoyed going to family functions and reunions. Memorial Visitation for Marian will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with an 8 p.m. Prayer Service.

Visitation will continue on Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11a.m. Fr. George Darling will officiate. Donations may be made to: Pilgrim Manor, Spectrum Health Hospice or Blessed Sacrament Church.
