OBITUARY Catherine Van Dyk March 18, 1931 – November 21, 2018 Van Dyk, Catherine, aged 87, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Van Dyk, infant daughter Joanne, her parents, brothers, Jan and Bert, and her sister Leni. She is survived by her children, Helena (Michael) Ojanen, Harold (Rebecca) Van Dyk, Nancy (Michael) Foster; grandchildren, Christina and Ineke Ojanen, Joshua (Nicole) Foster, Andrew (Kimberly) Foster and sister Trudi in the Netherlands.

Catherine was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and oma/grandmother. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. She was a longtime member of LaGrave Avenue CRC.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Monday November 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with Rev. John Steiginga officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairplains Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Holland Home-Raybrook for their tender and loving care of Catherine. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Holland Home-Raybrook.
