OBITUARY G. Edward Spang January 8, 1940 – November 12, 2018 Ed Spang, age 78 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2018. Our loving father and grandfather achieved many goals in his lifetime. Ed was active in community service, his faith in Christ, and a wonderful salesman.

Preceding Ed in death was his loving wife Susie Spang of 56 years and many other relatives. Ed will be loving remembered by his son Ed (Chari) Spang Jr. and daughter Elizabeth (Casey) Wilkinson as well as his four grandchildren, Joshua (Olivia) Blossom, Samantha Spang, Lauren Wilkinson, Jack Wilkinson, and sisters-in-law Karen “Micki” DiClemente and numerous friends. Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Sunday November 18, 2018 from 1-4 pm and Monday November 19, 2018 10-11 am.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Monday November 19, 2018 at 11 am. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dave Standfest from New Hope Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Ed’s honor to New Hope Community Church (6175 Northland Dr NE Rockford, MI 49341) or to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (456 Cherry St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
