He leaves behind his legacy to his parents, 7 sons; Bobby Griggs, Deveire Griggs, Detray Craig Griggs, Diabate Hood Griggs, Deonte Griggs, Deandre Griggs, and Deveion Griggs, 4 daughters; TaManika Fields Griggs, TaNiya Griggs, Candace Griggs, and Crystal Griggs, 3 brothers; David Griggs, Tammy Franklin, and Anthony Griggs, 3 sisters; Alice Dawkins, Ruth Rhodes, and Gail Brown Griggs, 27 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild Karel Jr., and a host of other family and friends. Public visitation will be held Friday, November 09, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, at 12:00 PM.
