OBITUARY Mary Jo Owczarzak May 9, 1929 – October 2, 2018 Mary Jo Owczarzak 89, passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018. Born on May 9, 1929 to John and Thelma Davis. Wife for 44 years of the late Robert Edward Owczarzak.

Loving mother of Linda (Jon) Fisher, David Owczarzak. Survived by siblings; Ellen Golec, Barbara Firlik, Katy (Bob) harper, Charles Davis, Marty Kremer, Susan Davis, sister in law Karen Davis , former daughter in law Kathy Owczarzak, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Parents John and Thelma Davis and brothers Jack and George Davis.

Mary Jo was an elementary school teacher for 30 years. She had a passion for helping her students learn to read, as she herself was an avid reader. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

She enjoyed knitting and traveling to their property up north. Mary Jo was an avid MSU fan and wouldn’t allow any other sports team colors in her home. Visitation for Mary Jo will be held on Sunday October 7, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mary will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Please make donations to the St. Andrew’s Memorial Garden Fund.
