Obituary for Betty Lee Glancy (Cains) Print Betty Lee Cains Glancy 1931 – 2019 Betty Lee Glancy, 87, of Grayson passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 7, 1931 in Hitchins, KY to late Charles and Nellie ton Cains. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Glancy, Jr.; a daughter, Wanda Kitchen; three brothers, Frank, James, and Cody; four sisters, Mildred, Ethel Mae, Mary Inez, and Edith.
She was a seamstress and worked at Ashland Sales and Service. She attended the New Life Victory Church in Olive Hill. She is survived by a son, Terry (Deborah) Glancy of Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Brenda Kay Menix of Grayson, Deborah (Carlos) Brown of Grayson, and Jennifer (Carl) Wagoner of Hitchins; ten grandchildren; Rachel and Derek Estep, Tony, Chris, and Kyle Cordle, Keith Glancy, Dana Ellis, Stacy Brown, Amanda Baier and Shannon Wagoner; nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Rob Baier, minister. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
