Betty Lou Maiden, age 84, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages, Fort Wayne. Mrs. Maiden was born in Speedwell, Tennessee on March 4, 1934 to the late Harrison and Mossie Ann (England) Collins. She was married to Charles Atlee Maiden before he preceded her in death in 2015.

Betty was a member of the Calvary Christian Fellowship, Fort Wayne and spent much of her time at the Fort Wayne Community Center. Survivors include: Daughter, Wanda and Robert Minnick of Fort Wayne. Daughter, Shelby Barnes of Fort Wayne.

Son, Roger Maiden of Fort Wayne. Daughter, Vanessa and Robert Bone of Fort Wayne. Five grandchildren: Stephanie Heroy, Joshua Beverly, Holli Barnes, Emilee Bone, and Sarah Bone all of Fort Wayne.

Three great grandchildren are Brittany Williams, Dakota Williams, and Gannon Williams all of Fort Wayne. One great-great grandchild, Jasper Williams also of Fort Wayne. Sister, Susie Betts and brothers, William Collins and Ronald Collins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Calvary Christian Fellowship at the Fort Wayne Community Center, 233 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The funeral service will follow visitation and will begin at 5:00 pm. Andrew Payno will officiate the service.
