Obituary for Betty Lou Dugan (Buffalo) Betty Lou Dugan, daughter of the late Gilbert and Jewell (Loudermilk) Hatfield was born on June 6, 1946 in Woodhill, MO and departed this life on September 14, 2018 at her home near Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 72 years, 3 months, and 7 days of age. Betty was reared and attended school in Woodhill and Tunas.

She was saved at an early age during a Revival at Kirk Chapel and was baptized in the Little Niangua River at the Rhodelander Ford. She was united in marriage to Duane Dugan on March 13, 1965 and to this union four children were born, all of whom survive her. She loved attending church with Duane Lone Rock Church, and then making Sunday dinners for her family.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and taking care of the cows. She also loved being outside fishing and hunting. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lloyd and Floyd Hatfield.

She is survived by her husband Duane of the home; her son, Billy & wife Dee Dugan of Buffalo, MO; three daughters, Barbara Dugan of Buffalo, MO, Patricia Todd of Buffalo, MO, and Diana and John Clemmons of Buffalo, MO; three brothers, Sonny & wife Brenda Loudermilk of Hot Springs, AR, Terry & Vanessa Rhodelander of Marshall, MO, and Thomas Hatfield; two sisters, Faye & husband Melvin Farris of Marshall, MO and Patsy & husband Jerry Browder of Marshall, MO; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Lone Rock Cemetery with Bro.

Dennis Skinner officiating. Escorts will be Zach Anderson, Cody Rhodelander, Chris Perkins, Robert Poole, Lyndol Sturdevant, and Danny Stricklnad. Interment will be in the Lone Rock Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
