Betty Louise Rader March 17, 1955 – January 3, 2019 Betty Louise Rader was born on March 17, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to late Erma Jean Moore Rader and the late Samuel Arthur Rader (“S.A.”). She was the youngest of six born to this union. Betty lived most her life in Chicago, then relocated to Helena, Arkansas in 2003.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 15, 2006. She enjoyed attending and participating in meetings at the Kingdom Hall and sharing her faith with others through door-to-door ministry. Betty was known for her passion to live her best life, her love for her children and a laugh that was unmistakably hers.
On June 1, 2018 she was brought back to Chicago by her children to better help her fight the latter stages of her illness. On Thursday evening, January 3, 2019, Betty fell asleep in death, awaiting the promised resurrection by our Lord. Along with both parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, David Gene Rader, and a sister, Corine Caroline Rader.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory her children: Adreain Katrice Spiller, Donnell Lee Rader (Jessica), Dennis Wendell DeBerry, Jr., Sade Jackson (Shawn) and Brittany Rader; grandchildren: Kristian Rader, Ishmael Spiller, Khallid Spiller, Akeem Spiller, Jamil Spiller, Naji Spiller, Jeremiah Rader, Micah Rader, Mason DeBerry, Cameron Jackson, Carson Jackson; great-grandchildren: Jaylen Rader, Skylar Rader, Jada White, Jenisis Spiller, Jace Spiller, Khallid Spiller and Kaydien Spiller; siblings: Joanne Turner (late husband, Tommy), Levell (Barbara), Jonathan (Arnetia), Erma Williams (J.T.); a sister-in-law, Michelle Rader (the wife of the late David Rader), and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Born: March 17, 1955 Death: January 3, 2019 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”.
