Obituary for Betty Louise Yates Betty Louise Yates, age 84 of Morristown passed away on October 16, 2018 atr Life Care of Jefferson City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh T. Yates, Jr, parents, Ben and Mae Shaffer, granddaughter, Brittany Leigh Gibson and brothers, George, Clint and Mack Shaffer. Betty worked for many years for D. John D. Caldwell and then as Manager for BY-LO Markets.

She was a member of French Broad Baptist Church. Betty is survived by her children, Darrell (Karen) Yates, Dawn (Mike) Gibson all of White Pine and Kevin (Tammy) Yates of Morristown; grandchildren, Taylor Gibson and Jeremy Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Kasey Whitaker; very special friend, Agnes Helton along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5-7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, funeral service will follow with the Rev.

Hartsell McCurry officiating. Graveside Interment Service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, 11:00am at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The Family would like to extend a Special Thank You to all the staff at Life Care of Jefferson City.
