Obituary for George Roger Coleman GEORGE ROGER COLEMAN, age 77 of Dandridge, TN formerly of Flint, MI passed away Thursday evening, November 29, 2018 at his home. He was born in Rockhouse, KY the son of the late Varney and Susan Belle Coleman. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam conflict.

Following his military service, he moved to Flint, MI where he worked for many years as an auto repair mechanic and retired to Dandridge, TN where he attended the Muddy Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Ann (Skaggs) Coleman; daughter, Peggy Thom (Steve Newman); brother, Arthur Coleman; sister, Kaye Hayes; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 1, 2018, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Jess Sherrod officiating. Interment graveside services with military honors will be Sunday, 2:00 pm at Hills Union Cemetery.
