Betty’s Obituary Betty May King, age 90, of Topeka, passed away Thursday morning, March 14, 2019 at The Pines South in Holton. Betty was born April 8, 1928 in Oneida, KS the daughter of Manoah and Mary Wright Schooler. She graduated from Burlingame High School in 1946.

She married Rex King and they later divorced. Betty married Charles Hazlett and they later divorced. Betty worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell/AT&T.

Later in life she worked at Lollars Antique Store in Topeka. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Singleton and a son, Stephen King. She is survived by two sons, Larry (Joella) King of Hoyt and Kevin King of Wichita; four grandson, Jeremy, Jason, Justin and Christopher; one granddaughter, Amy Singleton and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Nemaha County. davidsonfuneral.com.
