Betty S. Watkins, age 80, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her residence. Betty was born December 9, 1937 in Cass County, Texas to Jim and Ouida Watkins. She was retired from Price Hardware and had worked for over 30 years at the State Theater.

She also attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her two sisters, Rebecca McAlexander… Read More » of Texarkana, Texas, Linda Baker of Atlanta, Texas; three nieces, Marlyse Stewart and husband Garry, Karen Duffer and husband Bill, Sherri Goynes and husband George, Jr.; two nephews, Russell McAlexander, Jim Ed Baker and wife Charity; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Laws Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. George Goynes and Bro.

Gene Parker officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
