Betty Sue Jones Davis was born October 15, 1951 in Geneva, Alabama to Rosetta Jones and Jimmie Lee Jones. She accepted Christ at an early age and later she joined Grace Community Church in Dothan, Alabama. She retired from Dothan City Transportation after many years.

She married Willie Frank Davis in 1970. To this Union four children were born–Robert Powell (Ruthann), Cindy Porter (The late James Porter), Denise (David) and Ebony Davis. She went home to be with the lord on Saturday, May, 12 2018.

She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Frank Davis and both of her parents: Jimmie Lee and Rosetta Jones. Granddaughter: Carmela Kirkland, Two sisters: Barbara Benjamin and Lena Jackson, Three brothers: Charles, Lamar, and Foyett Jones. To cherish her memory she leaves her Special Companion L.T Blaxton.

Her siblings, one brother: Johnny Jones, and four sisters: Doris (Henry) Gaddacu, Dorothy Jones, Linda Williams, Ruthie (Odell) Smith. Her children: Robert (Ruthann) Powell, Cindy (the late James) Porter, Ebony Davis and Denise (David) Davis. Her fourteen grandchildren: Carmen Kirkland, Xavier Kirkland, Gillette Davis, Jasmine Davis, Jerel Davis, Rickey Johnson, Shaquitta Johnson, Shakitta Johnson, Shakiera Davis, Robert Powell Jr., Kenisha Lee, Conosha Lee, Aiden Powell, Jessica Lee, one Godson Jacorby Smith and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Two brother in laws: Les Davis, Emanuel (Wanda) Davis. Special friends: Shelia, Beverlye, Shug, Anna, Edna, and TaTa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
