Obituary for Bevelene Furrow Motley CHATHAM, Bevelene Furrow Motley, age 90, of 796 Motley Rd. Chatham, VA, entered into rest on February 21, 2019 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg. She was born on February 25, 1928, in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Eldridge Furrow and the late Nellie Wray Furrow.

She was married to the late Duke S. Moltey. She was a member of Mill Creek Community Church. She is survived by one son, Byron (Janice) Motley; and several nieces and nephew.

The family would like to thank her special caregiver, Leigh Creasy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Galen Motley; brothers, Stafford Furrow, Maymon Furrow, and Glenn Furrow; and a sister, Arnita F. Mason. Funeral services will be conducted at Mill Creek Community Church on Sunday February 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev.

Darrell T. Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Mill Creek Community Church one hour prior to the service.
