Beverly D. Moore Beverly D. Moore,95,passed away April 20, 2018. She was born August 15, 1922 in Moweaqua, Illinois, to the late Claude M. Denbo and Olivette R. (Boggs) Denbo. Beverly grew up in Decatur, Illinois.

She graduated from Decatur High School before attending Indiana Central College (now Indianapolis University. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Don Moore; and her brothers, Maurice and Jerald Denbo. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Bonnie), Steven (Becky) and Duane (Laura) Moore.

She also leaves 5 grandsons, 5 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters. Beverly moved to Akron in 1952 when Don was transferred by Goodyear. Always active in her local church, most recently Montrose Zion United Methodist, she often cooked for church dinners.

She enjoyed hosting family and friends and cooked for the Ronald McDonald House. She was a devoted and loving homemaker to her husband and children. She kept her sense of humor and would often even laugh at herself.

Beverly worked at Fairlawn Village Preschool and the cafeteria at Rankin Elementary School. Services will be held 11am Tuesday at Park United Methodist Church, 2308 24th Street SW, Akron, OH 44314. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Beverly’s name may be made to National Alzheimer’s Association,70 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 201 Hudson,OH 44236 or a charitable organization of your choice.
