Marilyn Beale Cupp May 2, 1930 – April 10, 2018 David B. Cupp Oct. 8, 1927-Feb. 15, 2018 Marilyn Beale Cupp passed away peacefully on April 10, 2018 at the age of 87.

Marilyn grew up in Juniata, Pennsylvania and graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1947. She went on to the South Baltimore General School of Nursing to follow her dream of becoming a nurse. Marilyn married her high school sweetheart, David B. Cupp, in the Spring of 1951 and they moved to Akron, Ohio where they started their family soon after.

She later returned to nursing at Bath Family Practice in 1973 and dedicated herself to nursing until retirement. Marilyn loved to spend time outdoors gardening, as well as reading, sewing, and spending time with her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Marilyn’s kind and giving spirit will be dearly missed.

We will forever hold her in our hearts and will keep the memories that we have with her alive forever. On February 15, 2018, David B. Cupp passed away at the age of 90. He will be fondly remembered by his surviving older sister, Margaret, along with countless other family members and friends who loved Dave greatly.

Originally from Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, Dave was a graduate of the University of Miami, Florida and went on to work at Goodyear Aircraft, NRM as a mechanical engineer and then later at Akron Standard Mold where he retired after 27 years. Dave’s family will cherish the memories they have made with him over the years, doing what he loved the most: fishing, being a model train enthusiast, and taking family vacations. His wit and humor have always put a smile on our faces and will do so long into the future as we think lovingly on our times together.

They are survived by three children; Steven, Melanie, and Harvey; and five grandchildren; Bradley, Benjamin, Megan, Anna, and Nataleine. Our family is greatly saddened by their passing, but we are happy they are at peace and reunited with our Lord. A memorial service will be held 11am Saturday May 19, 2018 at Bath Church, 3980 W Bath Rd, Akron 44333.
