Obituary for Beverly G. Armstrong Beverly G. Armstrong was born in Red Cloud, NE on February 20th, 1944 to Kirmet and Phyllis (Onstott) Irvin. She grew up in Superior, NE and attended business school in Lincoln, NE. While in Lincoln, she met Airman First Class Rodney D. Armstrong.

They were wed in Superior on September 1st, 1963. Their daughter Angie was born in 1966 in Great Falls, MT. The Air Force took them to Montana, Turkey, New Mexico, and Colorado.

After their time in the military they moved back to Wenatchee to help Rod’s father with the family business. They made their home in Wenatchee for the next 47 years. Bev worked at St. Paul’s Preschool and Head Start for twenty years.

She spent her retirement years caring for her granddaughters and great grandson. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and see more of the U.S. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years Rod Armstrong-Wenatchee, her daughter Angie (Brian) Landes – Cashmere, her granddaughters Tia (Ender) Demirkaya – Seattle and Taylor (Josh) Mason-Cashmere, and her great grandson Grady Irvin Mason. She is also survived by her brother Larry (Sharon) Irvin – Kansas and sister Beth (Herb) Stange – Kansas as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Wenatchee Cemetery on Saturday September 1st at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow at the family home.
