Beverly Jean Sainio, 89 of Shepherdsville passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was a Catholic by faith. Beverly was devoted to children as an avid knitter and donated all of her works of art to children in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband Veikko Sainio; her son Donald Willey Jr. and parents Harold and Ruth Steins. Beverly is survived by her children Susan Brashear of Shepherdsville, Nancy Willey of Shepherdsville, Carol Willey of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Karen Avery of Chester, MA and Sharon Engwer of South Egremont, MA; a sister in law Sharon Fisk Willey; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to take place at a later.
