Beweeta Jo Barnes, 85, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Beweeta was born August 10, 1933 in Cherokee County, Texas to Milton A. Lovelady and Mary Lane Lovelady. She was a resident of Port Arthur for 80 years and member of the United Methodist Temple.

Beweeta retired from TSO as an optician after many years of service. Survivors include her daughters, Kay Ingalls and husband Hilman of Crosby, TX, and Katherine Clayton and husband Phillip of Hamshire, TX; sister, Georgia Topperwein of Bernie, TX; grandchildren, Curtis Ingalls and wife Shelly, Matthew Haselden and wife Nikki, Jason Haselden, Jennifer Trevino and husband Ramon, and Tracy Dalby; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 12 noon, Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
