Obituary for Billie Fleming Smith FORT WORTH – Billie Fleming Smith, 90, peacefully departed this life to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Memorials: Should friends desire, donations can be made to Meadowbrook Methodist Church or American Heart Association. Billie was born Sept.

26, 1927 to Roy and Glenna McBride in Fort Worth. She attended Poly High School, but graduated from Trimble Tech in 1944. Billie She married Norvell Fleming in 1946 while working at Union Bank and Trust.

They remained married for 42 wonderful years until Norvell’s death in 1988. She will be remembered for her wonderful cooking, playing bridge and her love of dancing. Billie was a faithful member of Meadowbrook Methodist Church for 50 plus years.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and former husbands, Norvell Fleming and Travis Smith. A special thanks to Dr. Craig Dearden Roger and Roger Gleason for being her caring doctors. Survivors: Son, Craig Fleming (Lynn Dirks); daughters, Cayla Putnam (Mike), Cindi Boggus (Dan); three granddaughters, Tiffany Arterbury (Wayne), Lesli Garcia (Jesse) and Calie Fry (Adam); great-grandchildren and loved ones, Reagan Sanders, Gunner Garcia, Gage, Brody, Brandon and Ashley Arterbury, Mackenzie Fry, Kris Boggus and Wilda Carter.
