Obituary for Billie Gene McKinney Billie Gene McKinney age 84 a resident of Birchwood passed away Friday November 23, 2018 at the family residence. He was the son of the late James and Willie Ann McKinney and was also preceded in death by his wife Joyce Crisp Mckinney along with numerous brothers and sisters. Mr. McKinney was retired from General Motors in Flint Michigan with over 30 years of service.
He was an avid Bluegrass Music lover. He would go to different venues in the area to listen to Bluegrass including The Snowhill Jamboree and Harison Ruritan Club events. He is survived by his son Jim McKinney and his wife Beth, his daughter Janice Miller and her husband Dale, his grandchildren Amanda Fridell, Bradley Miller and Brianna Miller, his great grandchildren Trinity, Talon and Riley Friddell, his brother Jimmy Ray McKinney and his with Judy along with several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee St. Chapel with Rev. Ramon Torres officiating. The interment will follow at McInturf Cemetery in Birchwood.
