Billie departed this life on April 26, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and leaves to cherish his memory his children; Billie Toliver, Tyiesha Toliver, Lachic Scott and Terrachel Scott, brothers; Ricky (Barbara) Gates and Bobby (Terry) Gates, sisters; Wanda Gates and Erma Simmons, 17 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave SE, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel, at 12:00 Noon. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to services at 11:00 AM.
