OBITUARY Billy Boyd March 2, 1957 – July 23, 2018 William S. “Billy” Boyd, 61 years of age passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Billy was born March 2, 1957 in Jeffersonville to the late Dewey and Mary Jane Boyd. He was the former owner and operator of Billy Dee’s Restaurants and worked in the transportation business for over 40 years.

Billy was a graduate of Providence High School Class of 1975, former member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and active in the Ironman Group at Northside. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Bottorff. Survivors include his wife, Karen Akers Boyd; son, Bailey Boyd; step-sons, Chris Curry, Collin Curry; step-daughters, Alexandria McKinley, Demi McKinley; sister, Sarah Crane (Jerry Clemons); brother, Gene Bottorff (Gaynell); step-grandson, Waylon Cooper; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
