Billy G. King, 87, passed away in Bartlett, Tennessee on May 8, 2019, after a brief illness. Mr. King was retired from the Coca-Cola Company after 26 years, and he was a member and past president of the Al Chymia Shrine clown unit. He was a huge University of Tennessee football fan.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Peggy King; his parents, Robert and Willie King; and eleven siblings. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Gena (Bobby) Poole of Lakeland, TN and Kelly Howe of Germantown, TN. Mr. King was blessed with five grandchildren: Alyson (Tim) Bogue of Bartlett, Adam (Carolyn) Poole of Bartlett, Caleb Howe of Memphis, Hannah Beth Howe of Germantown, and Colton Howe of Germantown; and also six great grandchildren.

Visitation with his family will be on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 12:00-1:30 p.m., with his service at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East. Burial will be at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Trezevent, TN. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorial donations be sent to: The National Kidney Foundation (www.
