Obituary for Billy Joe Arther Billy Joe Arther, age 75 of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, September 14th at Floyd Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:AM Tuesday, September 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating; burial will follow in Walker’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Monday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Christopher Arther, Rod Arther, Jason Williams, Keith Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Josh Robertson. Survivors include sons, Scott Arther of Fort Payne, Stacey (Stacy) Arther of Collinsville, Barry Shane (Denise) Arther of Centre; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Arther. Mr. Arther was a native of Dekalb County, the son of the late William Isaac “Billy” and Hazel D.
