Obituary for Minnie Lee Walker Mrs. Minnie Lee Walker age 106 of Centre passed away Saturday, September 1st at Cherokee Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, September 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton and Rev.

Ted Elrod officiating, burial will follow in Mt Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Scottie Roden, Jason Walker, David Walker, Danny Hairrell, Rickey Hairrell, Billy Hairrell and James Hairrell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John Duncan, Jamie Hairrell and Lenny Hairrell. Survivors include sons, Don (Shelby) Walker of Centre, Joe (Jackie) Walker of Gadsden and Dennis (Jackie) Walker of Collinsville; daughter, Frances (Jimmy) Patterson of Fort Payne; sister, Thelma Clark of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga.

; 16 grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Walker; sons, James (Bud) Hairrell and James (Cotton) Hairrell; daughters, Dorothy Walker and Doris Duncan. Mrs. Walker was a native of Dekalb County and the daughter of the late Leonard and Nillie Phillips Casey and a member of Mt.
